Tanuku

As part of the celebrations, several welfare and charitable activities were undertaken, including food arrangements for patients and attendants at the Government General Hospital, Tanuku; meal arrangements at various old-age homes in Tanuku and Undrajavaram; and support to a home for mentally challenged children at Palangi through donation of essential items and fruits. Fruits were also distributed at different centres.

A total amount of Rs 50,050/- was spent on these service activities, reflecting the Association’s strong commitment to social service and humanitarian values.

Vijayawada

Organized a service programme at the Rajiv Nagar Old Age Home, Vijayawada, where about 25 residents are staying. On this day, breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, and dinner, along with essential grocery items and fruits, were provided to the inmates.

Palakollu

As part of the programme, fruits were distributed to elderly patients at the Palakollu Government Hospital. Subsequently, a free old-age home at Vedangipalem was visited, where food was served to the senior residents and time was spent with them in a warm and affectionate manner.

Later, the members visited a children’s orphanage near Palakollu Lions Hospital and distributed fruits, biscuit packets, and ball pens to the children.

Bhimavaram

The Bhimavaram Branch visited Sri Premalaya Vruddha Ashramam and donated four iron cots. In addition, the branch sponsored one day’s food expenses for the inmates, amounting to Rs15,500/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand and Five Hundred only).

As part of a social service activity, essential kits along with fruits were distributed to leprosy patients at the Eluru Government General Hospital.
