VERY SAD AND SUDDEN DEMISE
Sri K Naga Murthy Retd SDE and CHQ Vice President AIBSNLPWA expired on 28-12-2021 due to massive cardiac arrest. It is a great loss to our Association.
He is very much normal till his last breath. He actively participated in virtual CWC meeting on 26-12-2021.
He is 66 years old. He was recruited as Technician in DOT and very active in NFTE. Subsequently became JTO through direct open competition. He worked in Maharastra Circle and got transferred to AP. He served as circle office bearer for several years and also served as Circle President of combined AP in SNEA .
Immediately after retirement in 2016 he joined our Association. He had contributed his might for the construction of Pensioners’ Bhavan, Anantapur. It is only in Anantapur , our district association has its own building in the entire country. He convinced all VRS -19 Executives in Anantapur District to join our Association.
He is our CHQ Vice President having been elected in Puri Conference in September 2018.
He is survived by his wife, a son and two daughters.
CHQ conveys our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.

Chembolu Seetharama Sastry (20 May 1955 – 30 November 2021), known professionally as Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry, was an Indian poet and lyricist known for his works in Telugu cinema and Telugu theatre. He acquired the name Sirivennela after writing the lyrics for K. Viswanath's directorial film of the same name in 1986. Sastry has garnered several awards including eleven A.P state Nandi Awards and four Filmfare Awards South for his work. He has penned lyrics for over 3000 songs until 2020. In 2019, he was awarded the Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian award in India, for his contributions towards the field of arts and aesthetics.
Chembolu Sitharamasastry was appointed as Telecom Office Assistant and worked at Kakinada, Tadepalligudem and Viakhapatnam. He was compulsorily retired from service for writing cinema songs in 1993......V V S Murthy, former AGS
Malappuram (Kerala) district conference was held on 30-11-2021 at Thirur. In addition to Com. P S Ramankutty and Com. R N Padanair, Com. T P George, Com. T Ramachandran, Com. P Narayanan Moosad, Com. C K Surendran and Com. S G Panicker participated in the conference representing Circle Association. District Conference elected Com. P K Abdurahman as DP, Com. V R Vasudevan as DS and Com. C Mohanan as Dist Treasurer.
Kerala Circle held its CEC meeting physically on 29-11-2021 at Thirur. Com. P S Ramankutty (CHQ president), Com. R N Pada Nair (AGS) and Smt. A P Saraswathy (CHQ Org. Secy) participated. CEC dedided to hold Circle Conference of Kerala on 12th March 2022 at Thirur . On 30-11-2021 in a meeting participated by leaders of various organizations of Central and State Pensioners a Reeption Committee with Com. T Gangadharan (District Secretary of CGPA) as President. Com. V R Vasudevan (DS AIBSNLPWA) as General Convener and Com. C Mohanan (AIBSNLPWA) as Treasurer was formed for successful conduct of the Circle Conference.
