CHQ DELIGATION consisting of myself, Com. D Gopalakrishnan, Senior VP, Com. V Varaprasad Dy. GS , Com. T S Vittoban Treasurer, Com. R S N Murthy , Org. Secretary is in Delhi from 24th in the light of different versions that our Pension Revision is negated by internal finance of DOT.
There were some unexpected hurdles. Unusually all the offices including Sanchar Bhawan around Parliament were closed till 3 pm because of 15th President's swearing in ceremony on 25th . 5G Auction started on 26th. But still the above team along with Com Anupam Kaul AGS at Delhi could meet.

We have represented our Pension Revision issue and submitted necessary inputs.
Pension department officials told that if a concrete proposal is forwarded by DoT then they are willing to consider.
We didn't observe any negativity from the TOP in DOT .
Let us wait and see for the outcome.
Regarding implementation of Chennai CAT judgement dt. 17 2 22, Director Estt. informed that DDG (E) has gone on leave because of her mother's death. She will join by next week and a decision will be taken afterwards.
We brought to the notice of the new Member (F) about LPD reduction of Telecom Mechanics and not taking into account of officiating pay at the time of granting 78.2 revision.
Since he is new to the post, he noted down these issues in his diary and assured to consider.

ODISHA CIRCLE CONFERENCE WAS HELD ON 22-6-2022.
THE FOLLOWING WERE ELECTED UNANIMOUSLY

Following decisions have been taken in CWC meeting.
1. AIC at Visakhapatnam. AP
AIC shall be held at VISAKHAPATNAM on 2nd & 3rd December 2022.
Pre AIC CWC will be on 1st December.
Accommodation will be made available from 1st to 4th December.
Eligible delegates should be elected in the GB meetings / Conferences by Districts before July 31st so that Train reservations can be made in the first week of August. Delegate Fee is fixed at Rs 1300 each.
AIC Fund of Rs 50 per member should be sent to CHQ Treasurer before August end by Districts . CSs are requested to monitor.
2. CONSTITUTION AMENDMENTS COMMITTEE.

3. CIRCLE/DISTRICT CONFERENCES .
All the Circles and Districts which are due shall have to conduct their Conferences well before AIC.
4. WhatsApp GROUPS.
CHQ wanted all the Circles to open CEC groups so that the important Orders and messages from CHQ can reach the members instantaneously .
Out 23 Circles only 16 Circles have started.
In these 16 , only 10 are active by forwarding immediately.
Remaining 6 are acting as they wish. They have to forward all messages of CHQ in their groups immediately.
7 Circles are yet to start their CEC groups. They have to start immediately.Similarly, all DSs also should repeat the information from CHQ in their DEC groups with out any delay. Then only the purpose will be served. The intention of CHQ is to make ALL our members to know the developments in the ASSOCIATION at the earliest.

Clarified that there is no restriction in the CCS (Pension) Rules , 2021 on grant of family pension to a family member from two different sources in respect of same Government servant/pensioner.

It is notified that a meeting of Central Working Committee of AIBSNLPWA shall be held online from 10 AM on Sunday, the 5th June 2022 to consider the agenda given below. Com. P S Ramankutty, President shall preside over the meeting. All CWC members are requested to attend.

District Conference of Thoothukudi (Tamilnadu Circle) was held on 30-04-2022. Com L Thomas, Com S Subbaiah, Com S Paulsamy were elected as President, Secretary and Treasurer respectively.
Ropar District conference (Punjab) was held on 07-05-2022 at Nangal with good gathering. Com Jagparshad, Com S D Saini Com Pawan Kumar Ayri were elected as President, Secretary, Treasurer respectively. 
Lakhimpur Kheri - (UP east) District Conference was held on 06-05-2022. Com S Mani, Com Hardwari Lal, Com Iliyas Ali Siddique were elected as President, Secretary and Treasurer respectively.
NEW DISTRICT BRANCH AT PURULIA , WEST BENGAL was formed on 28-04-2022. Com Gowtam Sarkar, Com Goffur Ansari, Com Radha Madhab Ghatak were elected as President, Secretary and Treasurer respectively.
6th Circle conference of Kerala was held at Tirur on 7th May 2022. Com. D Gopalakrishnan VP CHQ inaugurated the Conference and addressed the delegates. Com. Narayanan Moosad Circle President addressing the gathering .

Conference elected unanimously, Coms. K Ravindran, T P George and Smt K K Saraswathy as Circle President, Circle Secretary and Treasurer respectively
Circle conference of U P West was held at Meerut on 26-4-2022. Coms. Anupamkaul and J S Dahia both AGSs have graced the occasion on behalf of CHQ.. Coms. R C Sharma, Kailash Gautam and J K Sharma were unanimously elected as President, CS and Treasurer respectively.
Hoshiapur District (Punjab Circle) Conference was held on 20-04-2022 and the following office-bearers were elected unanimously.

6th Conference of Chennai Telephone Circle was conducted on 27-4-2022.
Com.D Gopalakrishnan CHQ Vice President, inaugurated the conference .
CHQ Office bearers Coms. G.Natarajan, Vice President, A.Sugumaran Vice president, K.Muthiyalu DGS, V.Rathna AGS, T.S.Vittoban Treasurer, V.Ramarao Assistant Treasurer, R.Venkatachalam Circle Secretary TN Circle graced the function.
Coms. M.Munusamy, S.Thangaraj and M.Kannappan , the incumbent office bearers were re-elected unanimously as Circle President, Secretary and Treasurer respectively. More than 550 members attended the conference.
